Arch 653 Midterm (Allianz Arena)

  ALLIANZ ARENA by Herzog & de Meuron This midterm project aimed to recreate an existing project and develop it into a parametric model. I chose to do the Allianz Arena, primarily a soccer stadium and the home of Bayern Munich in Munich, Germany. The world-renowned architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron designed the stadium. This stadium was designed for the German soccer team, Bayern Munich. It started in competitions in 2001-02 and the design and completion took from 2002 until 2005. In 2005, it was completed and opened to hold games in the new stadium.
