ARCH655 Final Project
For project two in ARCH655, it was a continuation of project one and I decided to develop more parametric design iterations of the canopy at the Smithsonian Institution courtyard designed by Foster + Partners located in Washington DC. The priority of this project was to create a more abstract form of the canopy with the ability to create variations along with creating a simple mass and structural form for the canopy. The use of AI was implemented to create design concepts to be implemented in the grasshopper modeling with midjourney. The prompts for these images were " wave form parametric roof canopy with uniform triangular grid glazing openings (similar to the Smithsonian Institution courtyard ) for a courtyard encased by building" This prompt gave the best results to the style of canopy that I was particularly loo
